Turks Lead the Holiday Romance Trend

A recent survey revealed interesting results about holiday relationships among Turkish travelers. Participants were asked a simple question: “Have you ever experienced romance during a holiday?”

According to the results, 37 percent of respondents said they had experienced romance while on vacation, while around 60 percent said they had not.

The study also showed that men reported holiday romance slightly more often than women.

When broken down by gender, the survey revealed that 42 percent of Turkish men admitted to having a romantic experience during a holiday, while the rate for women was about 33 percent.

Psychologists explain that vacations create a relaxed environment where people feel more open to meeting new people and exploring new social experiences.

This is why holiday destinations often become places where friendships and romantic connections begin.
